Born in the Elven City of Shilla to a respected Priestess as she fell in love with a new-age Hunter of the Elf Village, The two gave birth to a child, hiding it from others as best they could. However during child birth Charles' Mother died, and His father was looked at negatively by the community, and was forced to flee with his new born son after the death of his love.
Doing what he could to get by Oliver Itzi Charles' Father who he was named after took a number of jobs as an assassin, Training Charles in that light as he grew in age.
Charles always heard that once he became of age he would need to track down the Itzi elder and receive the mark of the Itzi, showing that he had fully developed into a leader of the bloodline.
Charles Left two years before he would become 'Of-Age' not wanting to follow in the same manner of assassination that his father took. Charles began wondering taking up residence at a church of Kord Taking a more passive approach to it than most.
After Two years under the church's study it was attacked by a number of worshipers of Tiamat. The Sanctuary survived as the Tiamat enforcers were pushed back, however Berend the person who acted as Charles's mentor died in the attack. After this Charles continued on his wondering ways, Looking for his Grandfather to gather the strength of his clan to protect people. And Despising Dragonkind, and the worshipers of Tiamat, and Even those of Bahamat.
Charles continued his journey gaining information that a Cult of the Tiamat are operating in the area of Faxanidu, hearing rumors that they are establishing a camp in the forest of Xanidu.
