Seven days had passed since Death unlocked the seals placed upon TheRipz Richard was lying on the ground looking up at the sky… Kyle had both hands in his hoodie’s pocket staring at a worm trying to crawl over a rock. Out in the distance walking towards the football field that the two were at Ryan, Meaghan, Natalie.
Ryan: “hey guys, what’s goin on?”
Kyle: “…”
Richard: “…it’s not the day…”
Natalie: “I can’t believe a week has already gone... I haven’t done nearly enough to be prepared…”
Ryan: “why are you guys so bummed?”
Richard: “we reached our limits…”
Kyle: “I knew I should have put my skill points into limit breaker but NOOO you had to say… oh wait a sec”
Kyle grabbed his phone from his pocket and put it up to his ear.
Kyle: “hello?”
Ryan: “what do you mean? How fucking strong did you guys get?!”
Richard: “…that’s the thing… we didn’t…”
Kyle: “naw, we’re just hanging out its fine… how is it over there?”
Meaghan: “they’re putting people into shelters now…”
Natalie: “it sucks that we might be saying goodbye forever…”
Nick: “and ever amen”
turning around Ryan saw Justin, Alyssa, Carl, Witold, Mike, and Nick. All with smiling faces, trying to mask the fear they felt. Richard stayed staring up at the sky, not even noticing there arrival.
Carl: “where’s Ian?”
Natalie: “I just saw him at the shelter before I left…. He should be here soon.”
Kyle: “yeah, I love you… I’ll be right there…”
Kyle jetted off into the air without another word, everyone watched him go off, and Norbert flew down from the air and landed beside Richard, reverting to his baby form Norbert lay down with his head landing gently on Richard’s chest. Ian came floating in with his Arc Angel and Arc Sinner no where to be seen, behind him walked Daniel.
Mike: “where’d Kyle go?”
Justin: “…don’t know…”
Ian: “hey guys”
Natalie: “hi”
Ryan: “where’s your little floaty bug thingy?”
Ian: “they only come out when I charge my energy…. Hmm?”
Ian looked up at the sky, and everyone else followed.
Ian: “…why are the clouds giving me the middle finger?”
Richard: “good job Norbert… good job…”
Daniel: “nice”
