Death: “you know, D-E-A-T-H, the black knight, Satan’s hit man? Shit man, its crazy the names I’ve been called, I rather like death though, it does suit me. I guess people thought that I was killing them, because I’d appear over dead bodies, they thought I was leading the souls away, that’s not completely true, I’d watch how someone died, I guess its enjoyable at times, or when a giant war is breaking out, watching the battle, can be an amazing experience… I used to absorb the souls of the dead, so there energy would flow threw mine…I guess I’ve gained a good bit over the years, but compared to my actual powers, its not even a tenth of a percentile… I guess it sounds like I’m a monster... and maybe that’s true… but I’ve seen people do a lot worse things to people than I ever have… I just enjoy watching when two people choose to dual it out. The black cloaked being vanished, Philip walked over and slit the straps holding the blond girl down, he took the second spare lab coat and threw it over her body. he looked around, this time looking down, unnoticed to him before, there were three scientists in lap coats on the floor dead. Philip dragged each of them to the other side of the room, furthest away from the blond girl, he than removed one of the doctors lab coats and threw it overtop of the dead blond male, covering his entire body. He than crossed his lab coat and stood against the door, waiting for the girl to awaken… after a few moments Death appeared beside him again.
Death: “you think she’s going to love you? look at her, and look at you, oh man, even if she would, and that’s a long shot, can you imagine when she finds out what you are! You’ll never feel love again, you’ll never feel happiness, oh if your friends only knew ha-ha”
Philip: “did you kill these men?”
Death: “mmhmm, yup, slaughtered the lotta them”
Philip: “and the boy?”
Death: “nope, they did that”
Philip: “and you didn’t stop them?”
Death: “don’t be all high and mighty, you’ll never be able to stop everything, why try?”
Philip: “because it is within your power”
Death: “yea and a dollar a day can save a life in Africa, do you give? No, because you’re personal will to have that money is more important than that Child’s life, you’ll discover this to be the truth soon enough, I’d watched enough of your television to figure out why you think that, stupid purple dinosaur, love doesn’t make the world go round, war does, and it used to be fun to watch, each man bravely defending his country for something he believed in… but I’ve seen you now, never one on one, never group on group, you need to take a target, air strike please, actually, there is some fun going on back on earth right now, I think I’ll check it out, laters”
