With new word that the enemy would come within two days, the entire world was notified of this, school were given the day off, a majority of businesses were closed. People began to focus on there life as if it was the last. The world’s governments made a clear message to the people, that they would do anything within there power to fight against the oncoming foe, but that there sources show no matter how much force and power they put, they wouldn’t be able to win. When asked “why fight if you’re only going to loose?” the prim minister made a prolific statement “why live if you’re only going to die?” around the world similar questions were being asked. A state of effect went into play all around the world, that breaking of the law, would be dealt with quickly, in effect a form of martial law was taking effect worldwide, the police force as well as a number of voluntary civilians attempted to substance the peace, because when faced with imminent death humans will do whatever they can to survive… humans will do whatever they can to make there lives feel valuable…
Philip: “hey, you guys smell pickles?”
Kyle: “nope, why do you?”
Philip: “if I didn’t smell pickles why would I ask?”
Kyle: “maybe you’re a crazy son of a bitch?”
Philip: “and what on earth makes you think tha… never mind”
With two days left, the group wanted to spend time with there families… but first… they needed to prepare… an army representative had contacted them previously and sent them a list of orders and strategies that will be carried out on the day of…
Kyle: “everyone here?”
Alyssa: “IM NOT”
Kyle: “fuck kid, hurry up, were on a schedule!!”
Matt: “…anyone smell pickles?”
Ryan: “no… why?”
Matt: “I’m in the mood for pickles… and like 90% of taste is smell…”
Ryan: “I’m not touching that with a thirty foot poll”
They had planned one day of strategizing and training, and the second of family. When death isn’t far from you… you’re heart opens up… and you become stronger… and become more accepting of inevitable truths…
Kyle: “I was given this booklet by a general of the Canadian Army, he told me to look over it, I gave him the finger… long story short, Canada is out a general…”
Matt: “DUDE are you serious?”
Kyle: “naw, I’m just jokin, but he did give me this booklet n told me to run threw it… I kinda skimmed threw it but I got really bored…”
Philip: “yea, same…”
Kyle: “the just of it is that we wait for commands… we’ll be the trump card of the global united forces”
Richard: “GUF?”
Justin: “I DON’T TAKE NO GUF FROM YOU!”
Philip: “guys pay attention”
Kyle: “listen to me well I talk, or I’ll make you bleed where you shouldn’t bleed!!”
Nick: “NOO NOT MY HAIR”
Philip: “yea, well they’ll need us to stay together so we can be easily dispersed…”
Richard: “do we know anything about these grouping roomers?”
Philip: “what ones?”
Richard: “my mom said that there going to group people together at schools, and houses and stuff to keep everyone in an enclosed area making them easier to keep track of…”
Philip: “ah, umm… I didn’t get anything like that in this letter… but it does sound like a good idea.”
Mike: “cept for the fact that they’d be easier targets”
Carl: “yea, so where do we meet up day of?”
Kyle: “they gave me this cell phone, and then said they would call us on it and give orders…”
Justin: “awesome”
Ryan: “where we chillin then?”
Richard: “timmies”
Philip: “timmies won’t be open”
Carl: “you never know”
Natalie: “let’s hang out inside the high school…”
Meaghan: “yea, it’ll be a reminder of the good ole days…”
Ian: “wow, haven’t been there for a while.”
Philip: “sure, two day’s from now, we’ll go to where we all met up, and chill till we get orders…. But for now… we train!”
Kyle: “TIME FOR SOME PWNAGENESS”
The day was spent from twelve noon up until eleven thirty at night. They trained on a large field. Practicing every move they could come up with. Fighting each other with all out power, some sparring sessions had to be paused due to the simple fact…. That one of the two competing was on the verge of death… this is where Natalie’s new ability stepped in… her amazing power to heal was discovered relatively early in the day, thankfully this allowed for training to continue at a greater rate, bodies were injured and healed. Meaning that little rest was needed, and people were driven by the power of will.
“I want to protect those I love, I… want to love…. I must protect….”
the day came to a close…everyone went home… and then the second day began… the group split up, and spent time with there families and loved ones… the entire world did the same, stores were not open, people ate the best meals they could, because tomorrow might not happen… it was like Christmas in a way, hole families… multiples of generations, cousins... aunts… uncles… grandparents… parents… children… grandchildren… the catholic church offered its house open to all those who wished to heed the safety of God, and pray for there lives, and the lives of others… hoping for a better future… that day came, and went faster then anyone would have wanted… as it came to a close… the sun set in such a way that it forced a feeling on the people who watched it set, the sun had said its final farewell.
