Chapter 83: Repetition by Nature

Patrick had two blades out in one hand a Katana, being wielded inappropriately for its style or weaponry. In the other an old fashion blade. The one he had stolen from his father, and re-name Huo, it was glowing red, he was able to hold both blades with extreme ease and wielded them as if they were part of his body. most people would be struggling to stay alive, let alone be winning in a fight, but Nicholas isn’t most people. Nick was fighting back against Patrick, with two large blades, each the size of his body, they were large swords, with small handles, it looked as if they were very heavy, and that the handle would not be able to hold them, but for some reason they were being held as if they weighed five pounds, and the handles were holding them without cracking. The blades would collide in a display of electricity, and red light. The two would attack each other, blade on blade, each swung with there right hand, the two blades collided, then pulling there right back the lefts would come in, another collision. This continued, until one was pushed back too far, and began to take too much of a defensive posture. The attacks changed to Nick using both blades at once, chopping down with his right sword, and stabbing with his left. Patrick avoided damage by using his Katana to divert the stab away from his body; this left his hand in an anomalous position, then using his sword Huo to defend against the upper blade. This further made Patrick open to an attack, Nick turned his left sword, the one he had used to stab, sideways and was trying to make it cut into Patrick, putting more pressure on his Katana, Patrick remained unharmed, but was in a tight squeeze. This was all happening not far from where Silvo, Blooddread, Uki, Norbert, and Davi were.

Silvo: “You’re a bastard…”
Demon King: “Silvo….”
Silvo: “What Are You Planning on Doing?!”
Demon King: “you’ve stopped us enough… but helped us plenty…”
Blooddread: “how did we help you?”
Time Keeper: “giving people hope, means they have so much more to loose…”
Demon King: “you’re helping of some, gave people who were sorrowful something… before we took it away…”
Silvo: “you’re monsters…”
Demon King: “I am a monster, but I’ve accepted it… Silvo… You’re a monster too, don’t forget it”
Blooddread: “we’ve learned about how demons came to exist! You were human once…”
Demon King: “see… that’s where you’re wrong…”
Time Keeper: “he is a true blood.”
Blooddread: “true blood?”
Demon King: “animals… humans… demons… Demons are created via human mutation due to magical effects, or humans experimenting on animals… are that what you have learned?”
Silvo: “is it wrong?”
Demon King: “not entirely… you see, there were demons… creatures that went bump in the night… I was one of them…”
Blooddread: “how many are there like you?”
Demon King: “me, and that dog are all I know of…”
Blooddread: “Uki?!”
Demon King: “hmm a true demon will have powers that are greater then any human created demon… they call me the demon king because I was the first True Demon to ever be given life”
Blooddread: “and what’s your story?”
Time Keeper: “You’ll know one day…”
