Adam: “…it’s morning”
The sun peeked over the hills and shown on the training field, standing there stood the group, Ryan, Ian, Nick, Kyle, Natalie, Matt, Justin, Alyssa, Carl, Meaghan, Mike, and Witold. Charon and Adam walked towards them; in Adam’s hand was a black orb, about the size of his head. Walking up to the group Adam placed the orb in the middle.
Adam: “ready?”
Ryan: “yea, why don’t you guys come with? Help out a little?”
Adam: “this is all we can do…”
Natalie: “why?”
Charon: “it’s complicated.”
Matt: “ok…”
Adam: “it’s something you don’t need to know about”
Mike: “alright, so what we doin?”
Adam: “this orb will open a temporary portal. It is a one way portal that will spawn you in the last used location… if memory serves… I last used it in Mari…”
Charon: “yea…”
Ryan: “alright, let’s get started.”
Adam placed the orb into the center of the arena, the group stood to one side of it, and Adam placed his hands together beginning to chant.
Adam: “tomas alapotomanichuka coritoro ominatsu, rapendo ounosadi mashaka tumasuta escra omo… tomo dae”
The orb blew up; the particles spread outward and then imploded back inwards moving around and swirling to form a circular portal. Adam continued to chant.
Charon: “good luck”
Mike: “luck is for chumps”
Matt: “pft, luck”
Kyle: “all skill baby!!”
Everyone walked threw the portal at the same time, or within a few second intervals, after each one had gone threw the portal collapsed into its self and the orb re-formed.
Charon: “I got a question for yah...”
Adam: “what?”
Charon: “what are these taco things they keep talking about?”
Adam: “…”
The portal formed, in a location that was pitch black, no one could see anything. The portal made a sound as if the wind was blowing, then it stopped. The portal was closed. Looking up, there were clouds, they were outside, but it was night now, where before it was daybreak. Confused and unable to see anything Meaghan decided to light up the area.
Meaghan: “human flashlight away!”
The small ball of light formed, shown about six meters around the shadows of the different people would block it in some places, but what was seen was an alter behind them, they were standing on a small square platform, it had four sets of stairs going downward, one on each side. The platform couldn’t have been more then 10ft x 10ft, the group barely managed to fit on it.
Kyle: “how about a little more light?”
Meaghan: “sorry I’m not that good yet”
Ryan: “k I’ll do it.”
Ryan spawned two balls of fire, one in each hand; he then held his hands up.
Mike: “it’s not bright still can’ see.”
All that was now made visible was the fact that the staircase ended about 20 steps down and went out to another flat surface. Ryan ignited the flames to be about double the size. The sudden light shift made the area much more visible… they were standing on what seemed to be a sacrificial pyramid, though the bottom of the pyramid was not able to be seen, they could now clearly see the alter behind, the 20 or so stairs down, followed by a large landing, and a few more stairs had been made visible. The most noticeable thing however, was the fact that on that large landing…
Justin: “umm guys…”
there were…
Natalie: “shit…”
Demons…
Mike: “we’re so screwed…”

Witold: “I should have stayed home today…”
Watching... Gazing… Staring…
Matt: “…turn off the lights”
